Is it possible to dispense inter-city trains in reverse order automatically?

I have been able to dispense inter-city trains in reverse order manually by using the "Ctrl" key, however I cannot seem to figure out a way to do it automatically. I have been able to dispense them with the control car at the front using the automatic coach yard research but not in reverse as I require. Any help is greatly appreciated.
